Working with girls in Morija

June 2021

This year we have been listening and collecting stories of our young girls in the community who are faced with menstration problems. The plight of period poverty continues to rampage our economy unchecked. Through our innitiative, we are able to ensure safe and dignified menstrual hygiene management facilities in our establishments. Sustainable solutions towards preventing continuous land pollution, such as our pads, really show us that we as the community can do something about our issues.

Our Awesome Partner with RISE

July, 2021

Since we launched our NomaPads products, we have received enormous support from other organizations and groups. RISE has been at the top of that list. They approached us with the mission to build menstrual hygiene friendly toilets for schools in Lesotho. Among many positive things that RISE - Relationships Inspiring Social Enterprise, is doing (RISE is a non-profit whose main goal is Social Enterprise and Built Environment), Social entrepreneurship is key to their drive. We are blessed to impact construction in such an important way. Our mission of ensuring protection over every menstruator is being fulfilled through this collaboration. We will be meeting to share ideas on the next construction project being done by them in Lithabaneng Area.
As we have come to the awareness of Menstrual Hygiene and all its implementations if not observed well, we can start working towards making our public facilities such as in schools more inclusive and practical of girls on their menstruation.

Our partnership with SkyAlphaHD is only beginning and look forward to many more positive collaborations just like this one moving forward.
